An earthquake in Indonesian waters set off small tsunami waves Thursday morning, killed at least one person and damaged houses and buildings, officials said. The magnitude -7.4 earthquake was centered in the Molucca Sea at a depth of 35 kilometers (22 miles), the U.S. Geological Survey said. Tsunami waves were recorded at several monitoring stations less than half an hour later, including in Bitung with a height of 20 centimeters (8 inches) and in West Halmahera with a height of 30 centimeters

There is a recall for more than 260,000 cases of shredded cheese sold in 31 states and Puerto Rico because of the potential for metal fragment contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The FDA said that the various shredded cheeses were recalled by Great Lakes Cheese Co. The cheese products are sold under private store-brand labels at several retailers, including Target, Walmart and Aldi. The recall includes various cheeses such as mozzarella, Italian style, pizza styl
